FindMyTradesman.es is owned and operated by Aleve Business Solutions OÜ, which is responsible for processing personal data collected through the platform.

You can use the process explained on this page to request access to your personal data, ask us to correct inaccurate information, restrict or object to certain processing, request data portability or request deletion where the applicable legal requirements are met.

How to Submit a GDPR Request

Please include the following information:

  • Your full name.
  • The email address connected to your account, job request or enquiry.
  • Your registered mobile number, where applicable.
  • Whether you are a homeowner, Trade Partner, website visitor or another type of user.
  • The type of request you wish to make.
  • Your account, job or application reference number, where available.
  • Enough information to help us locate the relevant records.
  • A clear explanation of the action or information you are requesting.

Please do not send identity documents by ordinary email unless we specifically request them and provide an appropriate secure method.

Types of Request You Can Make

Your request may relate to:

  • Accessing a copy of your personal data.
  • Correcting inaccurate information.
  • Requesting deletion of eligible personal data.
  • Restricting how personal data is processed.
  • Objecting to particular processing.
  • Requesting a portable copy of eligible data.
  • Withdrawing consent.
  • Requesting information about automated processing or decision-making.
  • Raising another privacy-related concern.

Identity Verification

We have a responsibility to ensure that personal information is not disclosed, changed or deleted at the request of an unauthorised person.

We may therefore ask for additional information where reasonably necessary to confirm your identity or your authority to act on behalf of another person.

Any identity information requested will be limited to what is reasonably necessary to verify the request.

What Happens After You Submit a Request?

  1. Acknowledgement: We will confirm that your request has been received.
  2. Identity review: We may contact you if additional information is reasonably required.
  3. Request assessment: We will identify the relevant personal data and applicable legal requirements.
  4. Response: We will respond without undue delay and normally within one month of receiving a valid request.

If the request is complex or if several requests have been received, the response period may be extended where permitted by law. If an extension is required, we will explain the reason.

Requests Are Normally Free

There is normally no charge for exercising your GDPR rights.

Where a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive, we may take the action permitted under applicable data-protection law, including charging a reasonable administrative fee or refusing to act.

Information We May Need

To locate the relevant records, we may ask for information such as:

  • Your registered email address.
  • Your registered mobile number.
  • Your account type.
  • Your Trade Partner business name.
  • A job, opportunity or application reference number.
  • The approximate date of your interaction with the platform.
  • The service or feature you used.

Please provide only the information reasonably necessary for us to understand and process your request.

When a Request May Be Limited

Data-protection rights are not absolute.

We may need to retain or continue processing certain information for reasons including:

  • Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations.
  • Accounting, taxation or transaction-record requirements.
  • Fraud prevention and platform security.
  • The establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
  • Resolving complaints or disputes.
  • Protecting the rights and freedoms of other people.
  • Maintaining records necessary to demonstrate compliance.

If we cannot fully comply with your request, we will explain the reason and provide information about any available complaint rights.

Requests Made on Behalf of Another Person

You may submit a request through an authorised representative.

We may ask for evidence confirming the representative's authority and may also need to verify the identity of the person whose information is involved.

Account and Data Deletion Requests

You may use this GDPR request process to ask for deletion of your account and eligible personal data.

Deletion requests may be subject to identity verification and legal retention requirements.

Some information may need to be retained where required for taxation, accounting, fraud prevention, complaints, dispute resolution or legal claims.

Where information must be retained, it will only be kept for the applicable purpose and retention period.
